This tiger swallowtail posed for me on a milkweed plant. There were lots of bees and a few butterflies on the milkweed. But no Monarch butterflies.

Raleigh Explorers: We moved to Raleigh in 2016 after 33 years in Denver, Colorado. In a new environment, after so long in one place, it was time to explore. This blog is the result of our exploration of Raleigh, North Carolina.
