This little Chickadee was busy eating the maple flowers.

They're one of the most common birds, but the hardest to photograph.  They are constantly on the move.

Carolina Chickadees are probably the most common bird here, but the hardest to photograph.  They never sit still.

Chickadees are hard to photograph.  They're so quick that they're gone before you can focus.  I caught this one sliding down to the seed feeder.

 

Angry Birds?

Well, maybe not angry, maybe only grumpy.

The weather changed overnight from 70 degrees to snowing.  The birds just hunkered down in the trees.

 

Birds on the move

Both the Chickadee and the Titmouse are hard to photograph.  They are never still.  I was surprised to be able to get both in one picture.

I know they're really common, but I still like the little Chickadee's call.  It's the one birdsong I can always recognize.
