One more photo...

The Gyre is the most photographed installation in the NC Museum of Art's sculpture park.  How many people have taken the same picture?  (me too!)

Theme day: Museum

The theme for May is "Museum."
The new logo for the North Carolina Museum of Art is on every mug, notebook, pencil and knickknack that the museum store sells.  It's a graphic image of the Gyre.

It's the most iconic work in the sculpture park.

The Gyre

The Gyre is a great place for pictures.

It's an installation in the North Carolina Museum of Art's sculpture park.  A favorite with photographers.

Gyre

Gyre by Thomas Sayre

This sculpture sits on a hill in the North Carolina Museum of Art Sculpture park.  It changes as you move around it with different points of view.  It commands the hill and the area around it.
