Mushroom

This one I think is an Amanita Abrupta. Native to this area it forms relationships with pine and hardwood trees.  (See here)

Our wet weather has brought up the mushrooms.  Here's a little colony of ringless honey mushrooms.   Perfect hiding place for an elf or fairy.

After 4 inches of rain last week, the mushrooms are popping up.

We found these little beauties growing in the neighbor's grass.  I've never seen a purple mushroom before, but I think it's a Lilac Blewit.  Great name too!

This lovely little fungus is a Turkey Tail mushroom.  Supposedly it looks like the tail of a wild turkey.

I checked closely to make sure it really was a mushroom.
