Theme day- Climate

The theme day for July is Climate.

In the heat of the summer, the best place to be is the pool.  

As the climate heats up, we're going to need a lot more swimming pools, this one is pretty crowded.

Picture Walk

I equiped my two granddaughters with old phones, and we went on a picture walk.

They took pictures of everything they saw.

Some of them came out pretty nicely.

 

Summer

Getting out of the heat for a little while.

A quiet pond.

 

World Refugee day

Saturday was World Refugee Day with a celebration in downtown Raleigh.  Refugees and organizations that support refugees in Raleigh celebrated together.

A Ukranian children's dance group was a favorite.

A group from Burma performed as well.

I haven't posted a heron picture in a while.  I got pretty close for this one.
