Alien form?


This little guy was sitting by himself on a wooden bridge.  It looks like an alien spaceship, but it's only a sweetgum seed pod.

    We have a big sweet gum in our back garden (we call them liquid amber trees) so lots and lots of those pods in their season. The cockatoos love them. I am going to go off the air for a while so wish you a very happy new year.
