Civil Rights museum, Greensboro, NC

While in Greensboro, we visited the International Civil Rights Center and Museum.  It is in the exact building where 4 brave African American students sat down at the Woolworth's lunch counter and refused to leave. (see here)

The sit-in in 1960 helped invigorate the Civil Rights movement of the 60's.

The young men are honored with several plaques

They left big footsteps to follow.
