Welcome quilt

This quilt is made up of knitted and crocheted squares made by women all over Raleigh.  Each square is made individually, then put together into the quilt that is presented to refugee families as they settle in their new home.  It represents the welcome of the entire community.

Look for celebrations of World Refugee Day on Saturday June 24, your city may be taking part.
