Theme Day: Picture of the year

Going through all the pictures I posted this year, this one was not the brightest or most colorful.  But I liked the mystery.

Both of these were taken on a foggy morning.

Just as I took this picture of the pond, a huge owl swooped by and landed near his nest in a tree.

Woke up to a foggy day.  Everything was still.

The birds were singing, but they stayed in the trees.

The road disappeared into the fog.

It's eerie to see buildings fade away in the fog.
