Rose Garden

The grounds of the Raleigh Municipal Rose Garden have had many uses.  It was traditional land of the Lumbee and Tuscarora tribes.  Later it was a site of the NC state fair, a tank training ground during WW1, a race track, and finally became a WPA project creating the rose garden of today.
