Towhee
The birds might fly south to us in the winter, but sometimes it gets cold here too. This towhee found a sheltered spot in the bird feeder.

Towhee
The Towhees are everywhere right now, hopping around on the grass looking for bugs. Their shrieking whistle is very distinctive, as is their coloring.
