Little green snake

This little guy moved across the leaf litter into a tree.  He's a Rough Green Snake. (Here) We watched him climb up into a tree and then across to a vine.  It makes me wonder how many other creatures are in the forest that we never see.

  1. Terrific captures!

I expect the snakes we see up in this part of the continent have been tucked away in their dens for at least a couple of weeks by now.

  2. How pretty. But I must admit to not being keen on snakes. Perhaps it is because so many of ours are highly venemous and I don’t know which is which. So I am happier observing skinks and lizards.
