NC museum of Natural Sciences

This globe sits at the corner of the NC Museum of Natural Sciences building in downtown Raleigh.  I wonder if they'll redo it when the African Rift valley finally splits.

Bugfest 2017

The Museum of Natural Sciences held "Bugfest" a few weeks ago.  They offered bug treats to eat and other exciting activities.  This sand sculpture was still in front of the museum a week later.  I guess if it took so much work to make, you're going to leave it up as long as you can.
