Pink Flamingos

Twelve plastic pink flamingos are suddenly visiting the neighborhood.  They are celebrating a high school graduation.  One for each year?

The only decorated grave in the small churchyard was this one.  Who decorated Susie's grave?  Looking at the dates, she was only 17, so probably not a great-grandmother.

 

Flamingos

One neighbor found a way to celebrate her fiftieth birthday.  Her yard sprouted with fifty flamingos and hearts.

Stop and smell the flowers

This guy has been standing out by the neighbor's mailbox so long that the flowers have grown up around him.  It looks like he just stopped to take a sniff.

No, I don't think flamingos are native to North Carolina (at least here in Raleigh)  This was part of the play area at the Arboretum spring fling.  It was a flamingo ring toss.
