Interloper


Sometimes plants escape from the garden and become "naturalized."  This Cleome, called a Spider flower, is native to Asia, but I found it in a marshy forest.

  1. The villages of the Blue Mountains where are I live are within a National Park, garden escapees are a constant problem.

  2. Squirrels seem to be a cause for that sort of thing happening. I notice it with tulips growing far from the nearest tulip bed.
