On a recent walk through Annie Wilkerson Nature Preserve, the mushrooms were everywhere. This little one looks like it needs an elf. I think it's an Amanita jacksonii (here)
We have red mushrooms 🍄 with white spots in our garden. One time when I had nieces and nephews visiting my sister and I drew windows and doors on their stems so the kids thought gnomes had moved in overnight.
It looks in good shape.
