Red bird


There are a lot of stories about what a sighting of a cardinal means.  A messenger from the spirit world? A visit from a deceased loved one?  A nearby angel?
Well I just think they're beautiful birds.

    Oh I think they are just beautiful too. I have never seen a cardinal on the flesh ... I would be delighted if I did.

    A handsome fellow. We see them here in the winter around bird feeders, but more generally in the countryside.
