Every spring, the sidewalks, cars, and everything outside gets a layer of yellow pollen. The trees each have a week or two when they send out clouds of yellow pollen. Maples, Birch, Hickory (above) and most of all Loblolly Pines make the ground turn yellow.
Different sources, but it happens here too.
ReplyDeleteOur pine trees dump huge amounts of pollen at this time of year (Autumn) not spring. I am expecting that when I get back to the mountains this week the yellow paint job will be in full swing.
