Storm clouds

We started with a sunny day.  But it didn't last long.

The clouds blew past over the Gyre at the NC Museum of Art.

The water was high with more rain predicted.

 

Unsettled

After 3 days of rain, the weather wasn't sure if it should rain more or clear up.  It finally decided and the skies cleared to blue.

Cooper's Pond was deserted on a cloudy, dark day.  Even the geese were somewhere else.

Good morning on a cloudy day

If you get up at sunrise, sometimes you can get a glimpse of the sun on a cloudy day.

We haven't seen a lot of sun lately.   Sometimes she peeks through the clouds.

The day started out with bright sun.  By mid afternoon the sun had to work hard to be seen through the cloudy sky.

Now that we have solar panels, we watch the sun a lot more closely!
