Repurposed

The nursery reused their wagons as plant hangers.  

I wonder what else a creative person could use.

 

Red House

The red house at Horseshoe Farm is not lived in anymore.

It has been renovated, and it is used as park offices.

This gentleman is the deepest red cardinal I've seen.

The cardinals are getting ready for spring.  

First fall leaf

This sweetgum leaf is the first hint of fall.

Theme day: Red

The theme day for this month is "Red".  This red awning stood out on a yellow house.

Green again

The anoles feel safe in the holly bush.  Nothing would want to attack in all the spiny leaves.  He still wanted to scare us away with is dewlap though.

He seems very curious about us, and watched us closely.

Mr. Anole turns color

He was green as he climbed out of the bushes, and was turning red on the bricks.

It seems too early for leaves to turn.  And this was the only one I saw.  But summer is on it's way out, and here's the proof.  The first leaf of fall.
