This old persimmon tree was loaded with fruit and birds.

A chipping sparrow enjoyed the view.

Busy Sparrow

This little chipping sparrow was hippity hopping around in the grass beside the lake.

He was hard to follow with my camera, because he moved so fast.

I finally got him!

Visitors

A swarm of hungry chipping sparrows visited the feeder.  We rarely see them in groups.  I think they're starting to get ready to migrate north.  Is it too early?

Just a sparrow

There are so many kinds of sparrows, and they all look similar unless you look closely.  When you do look you'll see they're lovely.  This one is a little Chipping Sparrow.
