His eyes were a brilliant blue.  The camera couldn't catch the right color.  He looked spooky but was very friendly.

The theme for this month is "rest".  What is more restful than a dog sleeping in the sun?  What is she dreaming about?

It looked like a dog team coming up the trail.  The woman said she had 6 more at home.  She fosters huskies and said people get them because they're so beautiful, but give them up when they find out how much work it takes to keep them busy.

These four were certainly busy.

Something on the lake was interesting to both owner and dog.

 

Santa Paws

This decoration is cute, but the best part is when the owner's white Scotty dog walks by.  He's the spitting image of this Santa Paws.

 

Theme day: City People

This month's theme is "City People".  

There's not much going on in the city right now, but there is a lot of dog walking.

Most people walk their dogs around Shelly Lake.  This young man rode an electric skateboard, and carried his dog.

Art lovers

The sculpture garden at the NC Museum of Art is used by hundreds of people on a sunny day.  Most of them enjoy the acres of trails and sculptures without ever going into the museum itself.  Dogs and strollers, joggers, tricycles and scooters are all welcome.

Curious

This guy was watching the walkers on the greenway behind his house.  Not barking, just watching.

Stalker

This dog really had no chance of catching the deer.  He was on a leash besides.  But it didn't stop him from trying.

Pup talk?

The sign is about pet responsibility.  I don't think Khaki liked what she heard...
